Pros & Cons
Pros
Product works flawlessly. Delivered promptly. Very happy with product and operational needs were met.
Small antenna is perfect for dv4mini usb stick for d-star and dmr amateur radio protocols. Works well on 2 mtrs. Works great with my dv4mini and on my yaesu ht's; vx-2/vx-3/ft-2dr. Can also be used with a dvmega/raspberry pi combo.
Cons
I'm no radio geek and don't know the terminology, but the upper part of this antenna completely disconnected after barely two weeks of normal usage. It is simply incapable of surviving on an ht.
Highlights
Quality
Very happy with product and operational needs were met.
Thanks again for such a great product.
I am very happy with the watch and the antennas.
It does a little better than the standard antenna you get with the baofeng uv-5r.
Competitiveness
Very nice little antenna for a dstar hotspot.
It will make for a great home dstar setup with my sharkrf openspot.
I am giving it a rating close to the current average rating.

Its not a matter of threads being too short its the gps bump on top of the radio not having enough clearance for this to screw down
