Pros

It's hard to see the detail in the second photo but it's the end result. The transformation is incredible! Can't say enough. Retique is a pro.

Not all solid wood so couldn't be sanded down and refinished. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking to refinish furniture.

Cons

After a half hour of stirring, still had a very lumpy texture. Had to use a screwdriver to pry the material from the bottom of the can. If you need a wood graining tool to use the product they should send one.

I bought this product multiple time, and 3 out of 4 time it has been bad, clumped up and just garbage.

2 coats of oat stain and 4 coats of satin polypropylene finished it off

Price

I enjoy using the wood n primer but at $199 for a gallon, it’s not worth it.

That was a lot of money wasted.

Worked for my needs but over priced for so little product.

Would have given 5 stars if i got what i paid for.

Packaging/appearance

I love the look, and everyone who comes in loves how it looks.

I did an entire staircase 14 steps that was painted black and now it looks like a golden oak wood staircase.

The description said it had “everything you need” but the box was missing the staining sponge and foam brush.

The kit came with retique it brand kona oil stain however the pictures for the kit show varathane kona oil stain.
