Pros
The lock and latches are simplistic but durable enough. The locking feature is nice and it is secure and it looks great. It works for this purpose because our dog knows she’s not supposed to.
I love that my robot vacuum can go from my living room to my kitchen and clean because there isn’t a bar across the bottom like most gates. Purchased to keep my dogs from leaving the deck. Will be using this product on the kitchen doorway also.
Installation was simple, screws supplied seem to be working for now. Swap longer screws to reach through the drywall into a structural member. Easy to remove from the brackets if you want to remove it temporarily.
Cons
The only way this gate works is if your dog is enormous or too old to try to get around it.

Not hard to pull screen forward and unfold but am concerned the crease forming may become an issue in future.
Packaging/appearance
Once i got in place and got the wrinkle in the screen out, it looked great.
Much easier to operate the retractable gate than a solid gate, plus it’s completely out of the way and barely noticeable when open.

Its a great gate but the fabric gate part doesnt get tight enough so a dog or kid can go under the gate because the material should be more taunt

I do fear my child is too smart for it though he has already tried to unlock it and climbed in between the bars in stairwell to get past it

Imagine a window shade sideways the material is somewhat rubbery and see through

It looses one star from the last one different brand because netting screen has folded multiple times
