Pros

Has plenty o recessed holes for sturdy anchoring. The overall size is larger than i originally thought but not overbearing when out on the dock. The spacing of the bolt holes makes for a stong grip on the pressure treated dock.

It’s easy to install and durable. It is extremely durable and has no issue keeping our 30 foot pontoon, paddle boats, and jon boats secured.

It looks great and folds down neatly when not in use. It is very hard plastic and flips down so it becomes less of a trip hazard. Prevent tripping on those dark nights.

These will be the last cleats i will have to replace. They look like and feel like they will take on a hurricane. They still look great after floods and daily exposure to sun.

Cons

For myself, i need to have 100% confidence that a dock cleat will not break.

The good news if you do and realize it late you can unscrew it and reverse it as the holes will match up.

And it saves your toes and the embarrassment of stumbling and falling on your face on your own dock.

The price was much less on amazon than the local boating supply shop.
