Pros

The b-25 mitchell has to be one of the sexiest wwii *. Overall, highly recommended.

This is a great kit for a first time modeler. Prep work (sanding and flash removal) needs to be done before painting and assembly. My only gripe is the kit i received was a customer return.

Cons

Box was crushed and torn. Looked like it had been returned previously or possibly mishandled. Instructions are not accurate, decals won't come off paper. Box is very deceptive.

The defective parts (two) have a significant part of each piece missing (mishap during molding? This is not reasonable for complex models that take time to assemble. Don't count on this going together like a accurate miniatures kit.

I was very disappointed with the directions which were very poor and vague.

Have not finished assembling this model yet, but happy with the quality of pieces and instructions

It is hard not to be happy with what you get for the price.

I do find it a bit on the pricey side but bombers always are.

Ignore the reviewer that said he hated it because it was a box of gray plastic parts that you got to assemble.

Competitiveness

The earlier suggestion to use wd 40 for paint brush cleaning was a very good one, and very inexpensive compared to testor paint thinner.

I had built another revell 1:48 scale model before this, a p-51 mustang.
