Pros
I am of course very familiar with revell as any model builder would be. If you're familiar with plastic kits i don't think you'll be disappointed. For one they're typically more detailed than all but the most expensive wooden kits.

While wooden models are more durable and are what you would see in a museum plastic kits do have some advantages

Ive never really considered building a model of the mayflower because to be honest its not an attractive ship i tend to go in more for frigates and ships of the line

But i live one town away from plymouth ma and have been on the mayflower ii numerous times so i thought it would be nice to have it in my collection but i didnt want to put in the commitment monetarily or time wise of a wooden kit

The actual 400th anniversary was going to be a big deal in plymouth but unfortunately it fell smack in the middle of the pandemic so it turned out to be a bust

The cheapest wooden kit of the mayflower was substantially more expensive and a really good example will cost you hundreds more than this kit
