Pros
Heats very quickly, has 5 settings up to 430°. It heats up quickly and has a turbo function which gets it a bit hotter if needed. It cools down quite reasonably without much waste of time.
It is easy to hold and lightweight. The tip stays nice and cool for easy handling. It has a 1 tip which saves her fingers from burns.
This is a bigger barrel 1 1/4 inch so it gives a bigger looser curl. It heats up quickly, and the barrel is the perfect size.
This is a nice sleek built curling iron has four settings [ 4-5 are the same]. This curling iron is 2-in-1 which allows you to use it as a curling iron or a wand. This clamp style curling is safe, easy to use and a good value.
It has an auto shutoff and swivel cord which i love. The bottom swivels so the cord doesn’t get tangled or move. It also has an automatic shutoff, which is good if you are forgetful.
Cons
Not impressed. This one doesn't come close to any of them.

The price its so great for the quality of the product!
I was very impressed with the curling iron.
I immediately used hairspray on one side and left the other side free of product.
I don’t like how cheap the unit feels.
Competitiveness
(currently under $30)the curler heats up *very* fast, and maintains temperature better than any i have ever used.

However i can see people with long or thick hair having difficulty due to the design of the barrel

If the hair isnt spread out evenly along the length it can easily slip out

I think a spaced hinge would make this work brilliantly for everyone but for now short or thin haired people should use this easily people with thicker hair may require more patience

I have very thick hair and it takes forever to curl and doesn’t tend to hold a curl very well

I also noticed that the curling iron would shut off so i’d have to turn it back on periodically
