I advise watching a good tutorial on youtube on using the brush on very short hair i managed to find a couple if you are used to a rotating brush like i am it takes a couple of uses getting used to the different way it works well my brush arrived this morning and after unpacking and seeing the size of the brush my immediate response was well that will be going back as i think the brush is larger than the rotating brush i have which is a large one sadly my smaller brush broke which is why i was looking to replace it but i decided to give it a go my first attempt was lovely on the sides as i do like my hair to have volume the brush gave it lovely fullness but the back where i have a short bob that lies over even shorter hair was not so good but it did look a little better than it was as my hairdresser had cut my hair in a shorter layered bob than usual and the rotating brush i have was not turning it under and giving the volume i wanted it was making it stick out at all angles how ever much i tried to get it to look nice in a bob how ever many attempts i had but i decided to have another go with my new brush that arrived this morning and i think i must be getting how to use it which is very different from using my usual rotating brush as it now looks much nicer and i think a few more goes at getting used to it i'm going to be using it instead of my rotating brush so i think it will be staying after all as now i can go out with my hair looking nice i have been putting of going out as my hair just looked a mess at the back and i thought i was house bound until my hair grew a little longer the only complaint i have is it was left on the doorstep and was in a large paper envelope bag which was very wet and in an email it said it had been delivered and handed to the occupier being electrical it could be dangerous left in a very wet bag on the doorstep  Read Less
