The locking feature works well and is a nice way to protect the straightening plates. The titanium plates are extra smooth and rounded. There is a lock feature to keep it shut when you want it to be.

This product is a total game changer! It has a very sleek design. Everything works as designed. After the initial use they all got used to the cons, so have less problems now.

This flat iron has the longest warranty period i have seen. My favorite iron i use is upwards of $125. My granddaughters love this flat iron.
