Pros

The positioning options and flexibility of the cams are excellent. Front and rear cams offers nice swivel adjustments for the lens. Rear camera is tidy.

The footage is crystal clear from both cameras. Licence plates are clear and readable. It works fabulous during daylight hours though.

Plenty of wiring. I have them both hardwired to my vehicles circuit breaker boxes. I like how the cords are typical mini and micro usb type. Wishes there was an easier way to route the cigarette power cable.

The s500 is an excellent choice of dash cams. It is sleek and contours to your windshield for a clean install. The optional gps logger provides additional data encoded into the.

The camera is very easy to use, has very intuitive menus which is fantastic. The screen is large enough to glance at and the * are big enough to touch from a seated position. Usb power option - i use a usb battery bank in a sunvisor holder.

Cons

Dash cam freezes on boot. Only way to fix it is to unplug it, wait until it runs out of battery then plug it again.

Every 480mb video file has absolutely zero data logs with them. Head lamp light makes other cars look like a big blob of light. Even the traffic light looks like a light blob from about 10 meters.

Buyer beware. Unit is now worthless. I am disappointed with the system overall vs the advising claims.
