My old note 4 lost rather than broken had an otterbox case which was similar but 3 times the cost

Makes the phone huge though but its good has a plastic screen protector built in and a cutout for the home button

My motivation for buying this case was to protect the phone from drops that would ordinarily smash the screen or split the body and it looks and feels very much like it will do the job

Though the screen protector sits flush with the screen and the hole by the fingerprint reader permits easy scanning i suspect that dust and fine particles will get into that hole and sit under the screen protector so i wouldnt recommend this if you use this phone while youre on a building site or in an arid environment

For this reason if you keep the phone in a trouser pocket you may wish to point the screen away as sweat could get under the screen too
