The lid itself is fantastic all stainless steel gasketed really well but it didnt fit my yeti cup so i had to return it

The lid is easy enough to clean but does have deeper grooves than most lids around the seal that may tend to trap nasty stuff see picture

Its also a good replacement for a regular plastic lid if you are trying to move away from that sort of thing
