There are 2 things that a mouse mat needs to do1 provide a decent surface for your mouse to move on and2 grip the surface that its on so that when the user moves the mouse the mat stays put

The mat is extremely lightweight so without your wrist holding it down its like using a piece of paper as a mouse mat

Also the sides of the mat curl upwards and there seems to be no way to stop it

Unfortunately whilst this mouse mat provides a perfectly good surface for your mouse to do its stuff on its utterly awful at gripping the table that its on so every time you move the mouse the mat moves too and the only way to keep it still is to rest your wrist on the mat itself
