Pros

It helps clean the outer surfaces of the models to prepare the parts for priming. Great for stuck on grime and soap scum. It's a cleaners must have.

Steel wool is a must in a home that has little openings and crevices where critters may try to seek entry. The steel wool is grade #0000, which means it's perfect for giving things that final finish and polishing them to a shine.

Cons

Started rusting shortly after placement for my mice problem. After these steel wool pads get wet they quickly get rusty. It gets rusted quick.
