Pros

All the violins were assigned so i was assigned the cello. The projection on this instrument is intense. This is an excellent choice for anyone who wants to learn but is not ready to commit to a more expensive instrument.

This is my 3rd student violin but this one far surpasses them. It's sounds nice, it good quality and it has everything a beginner would need. This is quite decent for a serious beginner.

Cons

A bow is haired with about 13% more hair than is needed to play well. The wood is cheap and causes cracking due to the wood not being dried properly.

This bunnell pupil violin kit from kennedy violins is absolutely everything i could have wanted, at an amazing price.

You’re getting a $1,500 violin for less than $500.

I knew they would cost a few hundred dollars but i was relived that i didn't waste my money on this instrument.

Shipping

Considering that i am in connecticut and kennedy violins is in washington, it is impressively quick delivery.

They sent me the shipping label immediately and i shipped the violin without any cost.

I ended up receiving my package even earlier than expected and my wife was able to unwrap it for christmas.

Ups had misplaced my package and i contacted customer service.

Packaging/appearance

And thank you for the wonderful packaging as well as the violin.

I got a black case with grey lining, and a matching cloth to cover the violin.
