Quality
At over $20 per book, i expect guidebook pages to be high quality both in material and color.
I would probably go with the lonely planet one along with the steves' book and highly recommend getting more than one guide book.
With the current format, i end up turning to google or another resource to see what a site actually looks like.

I liked that this book was made to be torn apart in sections so you only have to carry that days section with you and you can toss the parts of the book that dont apply to what you are doing
