The information in the book is everything all i wish i had known when i first started traveling there. This book is awesome for someone planning to visit anywhere in italy. It is the bible on a trip to italy.
This book is so detailed eland is chockful of great information. I have osteoarthritis that impacts my mobility, so checked this book for information about accessibility issues at various sites.
It has inside information and prioritizes the sights you want to see. Superbly organized.

I like that my guide book has a face to it - compared to lonely planet, rough guides and others.
I'll probably buy the fodor's guide again or the dk eyewitness guide.
Otherwise i also used rick steves for scandinavia and that was excellent - i wouldn't use another primary guide for europe.

The pages are phone bookpaper thin style which i love because more info is packed into it and its still relatively light can call audibles while traveling or do more if i get bored or need to change plans for some reason

Not much improvement needed but how much you are walking with luggage is a real thing
