It blows fine and a lot cheaper than a yamaha.
Compared to the one that came with the instrument, i can bend the pitch a bit more and is let prone to odd frequencies in the sound.

The cork is snug but does fit

The odd ridge on the reed table is not noticeable when actually playing and my 34carmichael34 leather ligature fits well enough

But for practice of any style of music if you were otherwise stuck with a crappy mouthpiece the b5 would be a worthy upgrade
