Pros & Cons
Pros
Small and compact, but packs the punch of a much larger cutter. The blade is sharp and the cutter seems to be durable. Perfect size for 3/8 acr in close quarters. Easy to use in tight places.
Cons
The rollers are not grooved for a close cut next to the flare. Curls the edges in excessively on 3/8 brake lines. Claims to cut tubing down to 1/8 inch, but the smallest tubing it will actually cut is 3/16.
Highlights
Quality
Never had used a pipe cutter before but this was so easy to use and fit easily into small space; very durable—great quality
Small and easy to use in tight spaces, worked great on 3/16 brake lines
Most of them i have tried couldn't efficiently cut a straw, let alone a pipe.
I had to repair old brittle cpvc and every tool that stated it was for cpvc cracked the pipe and shattered it.
Price
For the price this thing is great.
It saved me some money to replace the leaking faucet by making the tube shorter.
I’ve had cheaper tubing cutters but i’m more than happy paying the extra money for this one.
Packaging/appearance
I certainly can't find one, and the package doesn't mention it.
I attached photos of the packaging to confirm.
Leaves no bur and cuts straight in a tiny package that is a godsend in tight spaces.
Competitiveness
In recent years it was like ridgid sold their name to be put on inferior products.
This one did the trick and is so small it actually fit in the tight spots in get this, a honda.
