Pros & Cons
Pros
Used this to cut 1 1/2 pipe to plumb bathroom sink. Made cutting pvc pipe for drains incredibly easy. I am a plumber who stumbled across this ridgid tool a few months back.
The alternative of using a hacksaw is incredibly primitive compared to this tool. Well worth the buy and would certainly recommend to anyone.
Cons
This open mouth design is garbage. The pipe is not stable when you're cutting. The blade isn't even sharp.
Highlights
Quality
Wow works great makes plumbing fast when working on thin wall drains pipes not made for heavy abs or pvc
This is a handy tool, ingenious, easy to use and does a neat job without the pipe cracking and leaving uneven end of tubing!
Ridgid is known for quality tools and this turned out unexpectedly to be one of them.
Decided while i had everything apart to just replace all the pipes with new ones.
Price
It was worth every penny to purchase.
Well worth the cost since one cannot go wrong when buying quality rigid brand tools.
