Pros & Cons

Update Pros and Cons

Pros

Feeds and retracts fine with a battery powered drill. Fed through a 2 inch pvc 90 sweep easily. Trigger actually is a clutch which engages a gear against the snakes spiral coils.

Worked faultlessly. Seems durable as well, it hooks up to my dewalt drill and i run it at a low rpm as the manual says seems to be very sturdy.

Cons

The cable was not stuck, but there was some friction. The cable is so flimsy i felt sure it would snap if i used the drill feature. The crank falls off constantly as it is being turned in either direction.

Quality

The tool is sturdy and advance/retract mechanism works well.

Really great product that hooks up to your drill and unclogs drains with ease.

These are thin cables and will twist easily ruining them if forced through too fast!

The bathroom sink has been slow to drain and finally was completely blocked.

Price

Saved me the cost of a plumber.

By ordering this i was able to remove the clog from deep within the pipe and save about $120.

For me it’s payed for itself not a waist of money for me

To call out a plumber to unplug drains is very expensive so the money i paid for this is beyond gratifying.

Shipping

I paid in-full for shipping, not partial delivery.

Packaging/appearance

And for pity sake, please deliver to my front door and not dump the package in the building lobby.

Competitiveness

I tried the drain x model because it was much less expensive and it kinked immediately and failed to unclog drain.

The rigid model is built somewhat better than the cobra with the same basic features (1/4" x 25' snake, a brake to keep the cab...  Read More

I like this rigid model better but it also cost about 40% more.
