Pros & Cons
Pros
Works like a charm and quick to a least 5 times faster.
Makes quick work of drywall hanging or installing decking. Only gripe is that it only came with the decking screw tip. The ridgid screwgun is solidly made and feels durable to hold.
Good tool for the price. Very truly impressed with the seller.
Cons
According to the manual, the issue is an overloaded motor. It is difficult to load the phillips bit and takes too long to change the bit. The seller is less than helpful.
Save effort by skipping this reconditioned model. A bit, costing over $8.
It either misdrives screws or jams. The clutch engages before the screw is fully driven. I drove alot of screws, it's fast, but spent alot of time fixing it.
Out of position, this tool is useless. Not for plywood sheathing.

After driving about 500 screws i had rounded the bit corners some partially because i was learning how to use the tool most effectively and not always engaging the screws well
