The image on the camera is great, easy to set up through the app, great responsiveness to view by the app. Ring's products are superior and cost less than one would expect.

The wifi radio is cheap. If you drop to just a good signal by moving away it gets worse. Needs stronger wifi transmitter/receiver, especially for this price.

The mount bracket is plastic, the mount swivel ball is plastic and the camera is plastic. The mount screw was stripped.

The daytime picture quality is literally fantastic with the vivid fall colors.
My only complaint is the video quality is not amazing.
Easily mounts to ceiling as well with the included parts—no need to buy the ceiling mount!

The 1 reason we bought the spotlight cam mount was for its ability to trigger external floods plus of course all the surveillance features

We called ring tech support and they discovered that the switching relay that controls the external light trigger had not been recognized

The key was being transferred to the advanced team the first support rep did not appear to understand the issue and gave incorrect information at first before transferring me to the advanced team
