Pros

Easy to install and easy to use app. We have one sensor that relies on a ring range extender to be able to connect to the base station.

Cons

Bluetooth / wifi / z-wave connection is useless when the jammer is used. Unfortunately it also replaces your wifi router and that performs very poorly.

Keypad is non-responsive (not the 1st time). Tech support tries to help me, we use the pin to reset device (not helping)- i keep getting calls from them while i'm on the phone with them trying to troubleshoot. The app interface is so bad, it's like it... Read More

Ring customer service says it’s a dud. Very unhappy customer. Worst part begins which i'll just summarize in one paragraph. These are trivial things that i mentioned to them years ago.

All in all my money is pretty much wasted. Not worth the frustrations it has cy. I'm left with some expensive and ugly paper weights.

Having some issues with the motion detector, it stopped working a few weeks into use.

This was +again+ a cake walk to install with the retrofit kit hardware adapter.

I love it, it’s worth having, and the price is extremely reasonable.

For this price yes an extra door sensor.
