It’s what i previously had. And test. Perfect configuration. Very pleased.

Cons

The server's that host ring are very unreliable. They eat batteries or quit connecting to wi-fi. It's supposed to pick up cellular backup when it loses internet connection so you're house is always monitored.

The base station makes other noises, like beeps when you open doors. The software has many other issues - like their tamper alarms which can't always be turned off so sensors need to be bypassed. A second sensor doesn't recognize when the door is clos... Read More

This is copycat garbage that any intruder can easily bypass. Good news is these scam artists still try to charge my bank account every month for monitoring even though the system has been disabled for a while.

Don’t be a chump like me. Don't expect mush. This is ludicrous. Very brain numbing but whatever.

Ring is a bloated, clunky, and cost ineffective system. There are some decent aspects of this “ring e ecosystem “.
