This sensor works well for us outside on hubitat. I love that they use aa batteries. They seem robust and i will be curious to see how the battery hold up in our canadian winters.

It came with 2 duracell aa batteries so hopefully battery life will be reasonably long but i won’t know till i’ve had it for a longer time

The smaller half of the sensor on the left is rotated 14 turn so it would fit and is attached to the door
