Pros

The ring chime is a great addition to my ring video doorbell. I love that it has a sleek and simple design that blends in with my home decor. The chime also has customizable tones, which is a nice touch. A lot of chime choices.

Wi-fi-enabled speaker that allows me to hear the doorbell even when my phone is not nearby. It triggers faster than an alexa routine by a few secs. I only wish it were a bit louder. Would work great in a smaller area.

Cons

Motion detection is okay, it picks up when the darn wind blows and rings on my phone. They were never moved or touched since mounted. Died suddenly with no interruptions/surges to power.

This chime keeps turning over and i have to keep resetting it. The tone volume is up all the way, and it’s borderline inaudible. Ring chimes have a reputation for quitting after 2-2 & 1/2 yrs.

The ring tone option of dogs barking is funny but didn't amuse our dog so we went with the westminster chimes.
