Revised review. I'm amazed at how great it is. Ring is backed by amazing customer service and an amazing warranty.
Cons
Without a subscription you can only stream live video. The lack of a subscription for key functionality makes this product a money grabbing scheme.
Videos/data can be hacked. Would not connect. Then it asks 'are you sure? Most importantly your ability to review video recordings is not possible. You are at risk of privacy breach from ring employees and hackers.
Of the functionality of this device is removed. I have to keep turning the circuit breaker off and on again to reset it. The light schedule pauses on its own.
But it is cheaply made compared to the original floodlight camera. My garage is not far from my router but this camera is disconnected from it 99% of the time.
Terrible product with fraudulent descriptions. Build quality and materials are 50% what they were. These are junk in comparison. Who writes such bs software?

In my case i mounted the cam directly below the plug in so this wasn’t necessary
