Pros
The motion sensor is different from the camera’s motion sensor. The 3d mapping is very interesting and a nice feature to see what path someone took. The light seems bright and the notifications are handy.
The ring app feels a bit clunky in places, but the hardware performs really well. Works on the ring app with my other devices. Only thing i don't like is that the unit is difficult to program to another person's account.
Easy to install and setup was effortless.
Cons
Even a little bit of zoom video quality loses all the details. I went from being pretty excited about using ring to having almost zero confidence in the product in less than a week. Had to return.

Price
The price is well worth it so far.
Packaging/appearance
All it really needs is a red targeting laser and a threating verbal warning to scare off the perps.
Competitiveness
4ghz and 5ghz wifi which some other ring products do not.
4, and not to the faster 5ghz.

When animals hear that click they freeze and then run away
