The device itself is well built button is protected by clear plastic cover which needs to be lifted up to access the button but its only held on by 2 tiny little plastic nubs and can easily be taken off if required open half way90degrees then push down seems to come off easily enough attaches the same wayremoving the cover doesnt trip any tamper alarm either

Anyway you hold the button for 3 seconds any mode and it flashes green ultimately redgreen as the alarm triggers

The 3 second delay might be an issue for some but my dad understands it at least while thinking straight but i cant find a way of reducing this delay i understand this could lead to false presses etc but i think depending on someones circumstances the option should be there to adjust it accordingly
