Pros & Cons

Pros

The solar strips around the outside of the sign are incredible and keep this sign beaming to space. Another positive is that it illuminates nicely to be easily seen but there is no light spillage. It comes on at night and usually stays on all night. E...  Read More

Cons

The batteries aren't replaceable, which just may be the issue. It flickers at night, being more off with an frequent flicks of light. Buy the non illuminated sign then pick up a low priced harbor freight light to shin on thenon illuminated sign.

Once the plastic connector piece in the rod breaks down, the whole sign falls down and breaks in half. The slightest bump will break the sign.

The plastic is far too soft and it will bend or snap off with very little force applied to it.

Quality

This is a high quality sign and lights well at night!

This sign is sturdy & well made.

The membrane loses its elasticity and gets crunchy after exposure to the elements.

As for simplisafe, i never had my system work as designed — there was always something wrong with at least one sensor!

Price

This is a great price and super easy to set up.

So to save money buy the 19 dollar sign and get a solar direct light from lowes and point to the sign and boom, it's lite up.

To pricey to purchase one everytime it's faded.

For that price it would be good to add at least some stickers, since for this price i saw some similar with stickers on ebay

Shipping

Plus, it was delivered the next day!

Packaging/appearance

Looks good i have it in front of a garden light in front of my house.

Competitiveness

Ring's sensors and software are superior to simplisafe's hands down.

Ours only posts lost pets and bad weather

Seems this defeats the purpose of using an app for neighborhood safety

This sign lets the criminals know they are on camera

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Good product but i need to caution buyers to not try to use the power button through the rubber membrane after the sign has been exposed to the weather for a year

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The power button is a rockertype switch and is located under the battery cover

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

If you are going to turn the sign on or off remove the battery cover first and change the switch directly instead of trying to do it as intended through the translucent membrane
