Pros

When this sensor detects motion, alexa has my porch lights, lights outside the garage, and my foyer lights which use z-wave to connect to the adt pulse come on.

Cons

I figure the sensor is faulty but have read in another review that ring knows this is an ongoing problem using an echo as a bridge. They fo work as motion sensors for alexa but response is horrible.

Don't buy raring products. A month later and all this ring smart lighting garbage is still just expensive paperweights. In my opinion this is just a scam to have you buy more stuff.

Water was getting inside and corroding the electronics. It's not really waterproof. Their battery spotlight with sensor appears to have the same problems - i’m guessing the motion sensor is the same.

The range of these outdoor ring motion sensors is unacceptably short. Motion is only detected about 4 feet from the motion sensor. It is an ok motion sensor, but way overpriced for what it does. Rd party battery-powered motion sensors are better.

Product is advertised at 15 feet detection. Range is aweful. Within 4 feet it works 75% of the time, 8 feet <50%.
