These lights are fantastic! They are efficient, reliable, and durable. They have a nice design and they have a subtle glow when they are in stand by mode. They are consistent in the way they work and the level of light that they offer.

It takes 4 d-size batteries, and i use the rechargeable type. I have a 2nd set that i swap out and recharge - saves lots of money. Only downside is 2 d batteries per light.

The flood light was useless from the beginning; just blinks when activated. The inside gets wet, soaking the batteries and destroying the lights themselves. It's absurd that the pathlights are not *waterproof*.

The advertised one year battery life is an absolute joke. November two more failed batteries, in brand new units that only lasted a month.

Heat signatures trigger the pathlight and said motion is only to be 15' they detect motion every 1-5 minutes, all day. They aren't any better even when set at the dimmest level and only working when motion is sensed.
