Pros
It seems to manage the amount of recharge the unit takes in on its own. No need to charge weekly anymore. Apparently, this is to prolong battery life, a very good feature.
This item works as advertised. The camera is crystal clear. I am pleased to report that it works.
The solar panel is awesome easy install. Best buy for anyone with a porch. It is important to make sure that you place the panel where it will get direct sunlight for a few hours a day.
Cons
All it does is slow down the draining of the batteries.
It gets full sun all day and i even tried unplugging it and plugging it back in. The panel was directed at the sun. This is the second solar charger that won't charge my ring.

I bought a new ring boot bell with the solar that goes behind the doorbell.

So far i would give this an a rating and it is well worth the price.
Competitiveness
At least until rainy season rolls in then it’s anyones guess but for the last few months, fully charged and no problem.

When i installed my solar battery charger i was shocked to see the battery continue to discharge only to find out that it doesnt kick in until the battery gets to about 70
