Pros
The only downside is that it will not work when it gets really cold. When it dips below -30 c keep an eye on it. Has a fun siren to scare crackheads off.
The app notifies you when battery is low. Night vision narrows the viewing area slightly but is still very good. The only thing i am not happy is zoom.
Cons
Product is being returned. Overall, this is the least satisfying purchase i've made in many months if not years. I love amazon products, but this is a waste of money.
It randomly catches motion, and then records for 30 seconds. Unless you pay a monthly fee, your recorded footage is lost, so essentially it is useless. The best i can do is chat with a bot or search ring’s community message boards for an answer.
The battery is horrible. Battery life is non-existent. Being in canada winter temperatures are -5c which depletes the battery life in 2-3 weeks max. This one keeps draining two batteries every 10 days.
I have an excellant wifi connection but it only seems to record after the fact. When i changed my online password, which was accepted, subsequent logins of the same password were not accepted. Bought a router.

Amazing clear wide view, easy to set up, great quality also.
Very disappointed with the amount of money we spent.
The sound quality is what blows me away.

Very clear nightvision in dark and with light turned on.
I've had the wired model for a year now and it works flawlessly with my lutron caseta lighting system.
I charge mine every 2 months defently buy the seond battery for longer life!

Once it was plugged in it automatically connected to my wifi i had set it up inside the house a week beforehand and the setting saved
