Will need your wi-fi instructions. You don't need a fancy drill or anything. Follow the ring app prompts on your phone to connect device.
Cons
It appears you can not reconnect your ring devices remotely. Having to physically hit a button just to reconnect to wifi is dumb.
Just looks like they are selling untested products everywhere. Service and features are extremely disappointing. Where are all these rave reviews coming from?
Camera goes to sleep, misses invents. That is such a fatal design flaw the government should intervene and shut down ring. What good is it if the company backing it conducts business (or at least fails to monitor such) in this manner?
The reps are off-shore, don't speak good english, work off of scripts. Support is worthless so they are now trash.

I found that the image quality and night vision was a disappointment for the price of the camera.
Packaging/appearance
Bought these to replace the arlo battery cameras i had due to poor night vision on the arlos.

Yes these don’t have 4k but i’ve seen the socalled 4k cams on the market and they do not impress

Not a significant step up in video quality from ring and the costs are much higher up front and on a monthly basis

You really shouldn’t expect a battery powered system to perform exceptionally unless you set it up for success
