Cloud subscription is no brainer if you have more than 3 ring devices. The notification for movement on my phone is a big plus. Great quality video and pictures.

I believe this may be a good indoor cam but putting it out doors away from the router gives you off and on security protection. Color in image distorts and turns entire image purple requiring resets frequently.

You get maybe 2/3 of the bottom of the picture that detects motion when running on battery. The motion detection is also a joke.

Ring support seems to be nothing more than a call center staffed by unqualified individuals. I call customer support & they can’t communicate effectively and refuse to help.
