Pros
Solar charges the battery and the wifi is strong and clear. The only other thing is sometimes rain drops on the lens will obscure visibility.
Cons
It's not so much the camera, it's the whole shambles that is called ring. The software is rubbish, the ethos is rubbish and everything related to ring is rubbish. They want to sell you a subscription that trickle bleeds you over time.
The live view feature only stays on for a short while. Even if you are logged in it takes more than a few seconds to reactivate. It becomes next to useless, except for live monitoring and the sound it alerts you with when it detects movement.
It connects for a while, but will disconnect after about 5-10 minutes. It's frustrating having to reconnect all the while. It looks quite plastic and is not as compact compared to our other wired ring camera’s - it is bulky and sizeable.

Battery lasts weeks so delighted with the purchase.
Everything about the camera is great, picture quality, motion detection and night vision works well.
If they were doing this properly they would have included one with the camera.

Before buying these cameras we already had the ring alarm system plus an indoor cam adding these cameras to our system seemed like the next logical step

Theyre very easy to set up the base of the camera is easy to remove and access the battery

Im having a few teething issues getting the levels of motion detection right as it is triggering a lot despite setting zones but if you set to less notifications i find it doesnt alert at all

However there are lots of options of the app to combat this so i think it will just be case of trial and error to get it right for me
