Pros
Mic picks up well. The value is great.
The view on my iphone is crisp and detailed. Easy to setup and install. And noway of adjusting the picture.
Ring cameras work great and can be viewed with wifi or mobile data. Connecting ring products with the app is soo easy a child can do it. Allows us to be as engaged with the cameras as we want to be.
Cons
When the exterior camera is more than 15ft away from the base station, the reception is spotty and unreliable. No longer recommend ring since they are controlling the recordings and view.
Live feed only works for about 15 minutes then it disconnects. No matter how close i put to wifi, it keeps going offline! The only way to reconnect is to charge battery that still has 97% or more. It reconnects and last maybe two days before going off... Read More
Amazon's replacement policies are generally great, but in this case the replacement is handled by ring, and they seem pretty messed up. None of the google search results show any response from ring other than call us for support.
Highlights
Quality
Simple to install, app works flawlessly, very clear picture even at night without lights.
Battery access is good and batteries are lasting very well even in the very hot summer with a fair amount of activity.
You can stick this up anywhere batteries last 4 months
The camera doesn’t charge with solar panel.
Price
Worth paying a little more, i highly recommend!
The only downside is i pay $100 per year and per location to use all cameras.
Competitiveness
The new combined cloud storage cost is much better than having 2 different product types and 2 different providers (doorbell and cameras).
I switched out some older arlo cameras for these.

I had a guy rip mine down and i was able to see it happen i yelled at the guy through the mic and then he threw the camera and i thought it was gone for a few days

Mounting was simple you dont need to order the extra mounting hardware unless you are mounting to a ceiling
