Pros

The camera on this device is fabulous. With the solar battery this thing is great. Is there a way to get this better picture camera to work like the ring wired doorbell, when it is wired?

Don't put off buying a doorbell cam. Bought on cyber monday and was worth it. The chime makes this device operate more like a normal doorbell.

Cons

Don't be fooled, the sticker price on this item is not the final amount you're going to pay. No where in the fine print says that and who reads it. That's completely unacceptable.

The bell now works but it doesn't, also. The mounting system is flimsy it used to come with a leveling device and have nested screws. The video is garbage. Just get a good doorbell and be done with it.

It's not spotty wifi. It disconnects from the wifi constantly. Sometimes the reconnect lasts a week, sometimes a day, sometimes it never reconnects.

Ring does not care about your privacy and the device itself.
