Cons

For high traffic areas, there is an option to record but not notify. This morning the doorbell is offline again and i'm sure as soon as i check the transformer i'll find out it is again dead.

While i admit she was very courteous and kind without me being able to remove the faceplate she was unable to help me. Spare yourself headache and safety concerns- buy from a more reputable company.

After the 30-day trial, it's like it purposely is * so that you buy the monthly plan. The other drawback with ring app is that it's filled with info-ads about all the other ring companion products that work with the doorbell.

My house came with a skybell that didn’t give motion like the ring products i’m use too that are throughout the house.

There are plug in transformers with long wire leads for connecting to an indoor source if you do not have a prewired doorbell to tap into.
