Pros

The grip band style is a must for me as i will not do the old elastic sewn in anymore. I'm especially happy with the pad, which is a great size and comfortable to ride on for 60+ miles at a time. Very comfy and very cool.

If they had these in winter xxl, i’d buy two of them. These aren't pro level pearl izumi but are great for the price. After a few washes the bibs do loosen up a small amount which is perfect.

The chamois is comfy and good for a 1-2 hour session. The leg grippers do a great job of keeping them in place. Almost on par with my castelli and hyper threads shorts.

Cons

Price is the only redeeming quality of these bib shorts. The chamois/pad was so uncomfortable it became a distraction after about 20 miles. Padding is thicker towards the back and very thin in front.

But for the price, can't beat it.

Competitiveness

These aren't pro level pearl izumi but are great for the price.

I bought a medium (5’11, 170lbs, thoroughly average thigh diameter, i think), and they hug without being too compressive.

Six months later, those high-end bibs have threads fraying and unraveling all over the place.

Let me know if that is possible because i have a feeling that could another 5star mix.
