Pros
Just plug the cuff into the right port, turn the device on, and push a button measure your bp. Works over thin clothing and readings consistent with readings taken at physician's office.
Omron series 7 model bp761n is still available at amazon for $ 103. Definitely as good as the extremely priced versions. This is the model that got a very high rating in a national consumer ratings magazine. Very pleased with the product quality.
The best value in an automated cuff. Comes with an adapter and carrying case. Very easy to setup and works very well. Easy to use, and convenient memory feature.
Comes with both battery and plug-in usage. Power supply conserves batteries. I love being able to plug it in to the wall socket and not have to use 4 batteries as my old one did.
Cons
For weeks this device reads my bp around 30 points higher systolic and 20 points higher diastolic than a nurse's reading a day ago. Do yourself a favor and have your doctor compare his equipment to the one you are using. Wasted my money on this.
