Longer explanation if youre interestedone thing some people may not understand is that although it looks similar the plug coming from the atari is not what we think of today as rca output the one commonly seen as 34yellow34 video and 34red and white34 audio often seen with vcrs etc

Although the plug physically fits it will not work if you simply plug the rca output from the atari into the yellow red or white rca inputs on the tv because the signal the tv is expecting is different

There are no complex conversions rf modulation etc

My whole point to buying this was to get an oldschool atari 2600 to working on an hd flat screen tv since the interface generation gap has grown so big

Now whatever other use this thing has other than to bridge the gap of old technology with newer i really cant say but i will say it does work
