My wife and i love playing board games, but very few are built just for two people and seem too simple with so few players.

Price

I bought this because it was on sale and we already know and love catan.

Packaging/appearance

I love the packaging and the game is really beautiful to play.

I bought this for a christmas gift and the recipient loves it!

Competitiveness

I almost hate to admit it, but we like rivals even more than settlers!

If you like the original catan, i definitely recommend trying rivals.

There is definitely a benefit to understanding settlers, but still a lot to learn for the different versions included in this game.
