It seems that you can just choose to put the square or the threaded holes on the front or back. It's obviously been used before - the rails all have paint rubbed off from the nuts. The top has scratches from another rack being stacked on top of it.

Based on the measurements i thought it would fit 2x 12v 200ah batteries side by side but it’s a little bit narrower than what i needed

But this unit is a bit narrow for two batteries side by side and too short to place one battery on another
