To make up for this problem as you can see from the attached picture i attempted to wind the cord evenly around one of the three legs to try and make it look less of an eyesore

The actual socked that the light bulb screw into seems to be freely rotating on my lamp

The only thing i would change is that the cord runs kind of loosely down the middle of the lamp it wouldve looked better if it wasnt just hanging down in the middle in my opinion
