It is on the firmer side and feels well supported with just enough give. It is sooooo comfortable. It seems to be holding up really well to daily use and has been able to wipe clean with a damp washcloth.

Subjectively, i think that the caviar color of the rivet hawthorne line looks and feels nicer than the dark grey. The fabric is a bit nubby, yet silvery grey fabric. Denim pulls in more green than expected but works well for our decor.

Great choice if you are not looking for a full sized couch. Needed a smaller couch for our den with malm fireplace.

Cons

To add to my dissatisfaction a refund takes 14days after the item is returned. Free return is a false advertisement by far! I'm a disabled vet on a fixed income ad this is appalling.

Packaging/appearance

Legs were cleverly hidden in the couch.

After several months, it still looks great, no pilling, tears or depressions in the cushions.

There were some punctures in the cardboard packaging (where fork lifts punctured it).

Competitiveness

The couch is good quality, pretty good height, cushions are firm but i wasn't looking for a pillowtop couch.

Also a great value compared to similar products.
