Pros

The hood is a polished concrete but not as weighty as i expected. They are classy, sturdy, and far lighter than you might guess.

Installation is straightforward and can be done by most diyers. Comes with bulb. Wished it would be sold in a 3 way socket model. I wish it also took somewhat brighter bulbs than 60 watt equivalents.

It is a great value and a simple upgrade that makes a huge difference in my home. This looks great in my industrial-themed space. Wish it was a little taller.

The linen-like shade is a warmer oatmeal color (tan with grey flecks) i disagree with the other reviews that say the beige color of the shades doesn't go with the grey of the bare.

Cons

The base is all gray and it's so heavy it feels like a large piece of cement. It appears that they sort of faux painted or faux cast, but these are far from the photo and do not look like concrete. It needs better packing for a lamp this heavy.

The packaging was so well done, i was impressed!

Nice and unique addition - came in perfect condition.

Unfortunately it had obviously been preused and was smudged in a couple of places (arrived in broken packaging).

It was packaged great so i’m sure just an error in construction or something.
