The modern lines are carried through to the feet which are bent metal that you only need a phillips screwdriver to attach the only part that did not come assembled

I would of liked the option to purchase the legs in a brass finish i think the navy couch pairs nicely with brass especially if you are going for an industrial or mid century modern look

The legs are chrome not just painted like several i looked at before ordering

Has an overstuffed top so it is rounded not square when you look at the ottoman from the side
